Warranty Policy
Last update: November 20, 2025
GasPro Detection supplies genuine Honeywell gas detection equipment sourced through authorized distributor channels. All products are covered by the official Honeywell Manufacturer Warranty, which ensures authenticity and protection against manufacturing defects.
This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how customers can request support.
1. Warranty Coverage
All Honeywell gas detection devices purchased from GasPro Detection are eligible for Honeywell’s standard manufacturer warranty, which may vary depending on the model. Typical Honeywell warranty coverage includes:
- Protection against factory defects
- Faulty components due to manufacturing issues
- Product malfunction not caused by external factors
- Sensor related defects (depending on model and warranty type)
Warranty periods differ by product series, for example:
- Portable Gas Detectors (e.g., BW MicroClip Series): up to 3 years depending on model
- Fixed Gas Detection Systems: warranty varies by component
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, as shown on the invoice.
2. What Is Not Covered
The manufacturer warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling
- Units that have been opened, modified, or repaired by unauthorized technicians
- Normal wear and tear
- Calibration drift due to normal use
- Environmental damage (e.g., water, corrosion, chemical exposure)
- Battery degradation due to age
- Consumable parts such as sensors, filters, clips, tubing, etc.
Products that fail due to issues outside of manufacturing defects are not eligible for free replacement or repair under the manufacturer warranty.
3. Warranty Procedure
To submit a warranty request, customers must provide:
- Proof of purchase (invoice from GasPro Detection)
- Product serial number
- Description of the issue
- Photo or video evidence of the malfunction (if applicable)
Once submitted, our team will:
- Verify warranty eligibility
- Coordinate the claim with the authorized Honeywell distributor
- Inform the customer of the next steps (replacement, repair, or evaluation)
Processing time may vary depending on the distributor’s service workflow.
4. Warranty Resolution Options
Depending on the distributor’s assessment, Honeywell may provide:
- Replacement of the defective unit
- Repair of the defective components
- A refurbished replacement unit
- Rejection of warranty if the issue is not covered
GasPro Detection does not independently perform warranty evaluation or repair.
All warranty decisions follow Honeywell’s official warranty terms.

- The device has been used according to Honeywell instructions

Any troubleshooting steps provided by GasPro Detection have been followed
Return shipping costs for warranty evaluation may be the responsibility of the customer unless required by law.
