XNX Universal Transmitter Honeywell

Product Description

XNX™ Universal Transmitter Honeywell – Gas Detector

The XNX’s strength lies in its universal, easy-to-use platform that requires minimal maintenance. The XNX can integrate with other safety equipment through digital bus systems, including Searchline Excel, Optima, or other gas detectors, as well as standard industrial PLCs and third-party monitoring controllers.

The XNX supports gas monitoring using Electrochemical, Infrared, and Catalytic Bead technologies. It operates via standard 4–20mA and HART wiring, with optional Modbus, Fieldbus (under development), up to three relays, and a local HART adapter for configuration and diagnostics using existing HART handheld devices.

With more than 200 unique configurations, the XNX meets Class 1/Class 2 intrinsically safe and explosion-proof requirements for industries such as oil and gas (upstream and downstream), chemical processing, wastewater treatment, and many others.

The Honeywell XNX Universal Transmitter is available in various material options, including stainless steel or marine-grade coated aluminium. Its five threaded ports—available in metric or NPT versions—offer maximum installation flexibility. The instrument can be mounted directly to the transmitter or remotely using suitable accessories.
